Wild Rhody Ranch
is a 501(c)(3) non-profit faith-based ranch, serving our community for the purpose of mentoring youth, encouraging families and rescuing equine.
Based near Port Townsend, we started in 1993 with a rescue mare who had been abused at an early age. As others were drawn to her, we soon found that she was instrumental in helping bring healing and encouragement to others. Over the years we have witnessed transformational changes to people of all ages, including our veterans, through developing a trusting bond between our horses and humans.
In order to continue in our endeavors with excellence, we need your help. With the rising costs of our economy, maintenance and care expense is also rising. Our goal is to not only take the best of care for the land we lease, our facility and horses, but also to serve those who participate in our activities regardless of income and affordability. We serve as many as we can free of charge. We desire to impart not only the joy that comes from the interacting with our beloved equine, but the skills and relationships gained that last a lifetime.
